Jenn was born in Yuba City, California in 1973 to Mary Ellen and Jim Bjurman. After enjoying six months of sunny weather the family moved back to Kenosha, WI were Jenn attended schools and her sister Jessica was born in 1978. Jenn's favorite activities at that time were gymnastics, orchestra, golf, and reading books about the civil war. Her mother, Ellen, died in August 1990 after a long battle with cancer. Jenn graduated from Tremper HS in the spring of 1991. In August of 1991 she moved to attend college at the University of Wisconsin Madison Campus were she graduated in 1995 with a degree in Psychology. Jenn decided to remain in Madison after graduation and found employment in the area. After two years she decided to go back to school and study Healthcare Administration at Concordia University Madison Campus. Jenn now lives in Albuquerque working as a healthcare coding auditor for Presbyterian HealthCare Services.
David was born in Helena, MT in 1973 to Carol and Rich Birr. After his parent's divorce he and his brother Brian went to live temporarily at his Grandmother Rock's in North Lake, IL. Shortly thereafter he went to live with his father who had also relocated to Illinois. David attended schools in Illinois through his sophomore year. His family then purchased a Dairy Farm in the very small town of Deerfield where David developed a knack at figuring out how to fix everything from the kitchen sink to large tractors. After graduating from Deerfield HS in 1991 David attended the University of Wisconsin Madison Campus. While working part-time at Sentry Hilldale (grocery store) he put his fixing abilities to work in between the jobs he was supposed to be doing. (fixing everything from the cash registers to creating a computer network) Out of this exposure the owner of Sentry offer to start up a new internet and computer company called vtom.com. David worked his way to partner of this start-up company which he sold back to his partners in 2001. He now works as a Network Engineer at Lovelace Health Systems in Albuquerque, NM.
Jenn & Dave meet on 3-12-98 (Jenn's birthday) at a bar called Old Towne Pub. They were introduced by mutual friends, Bao & Steph. They immediately started dating and even bought a dog, Taz, together. They were engaged in late September of 1999 and married at Forrestal's Gallery in Middleton, WI on July 22nd, 2000 (the bride's mother's birthday) in a outdoor garden. They recently relocated from Madison together with their two dogs, Shoo-Shoo and Taz's and moved to Albuquerque, NM where they purchased a house and both took new jobs at different healthcare systems. Learning how to dance, enjoying the outdoors, landscaping their new home, and preparing for the birth our their 1st child now occupies their time outside of work.
